Each year we are experiencing changes and advancements regarding the Studies and improvements of Therapies and Therapeutic Treatments.
New techniques arise, new proposals of procedures and treatments ... New devices, innovative products etc ...
If you have noticed, I have been proposing innovations regarding "Techniques and Studies", as well as the presentation of my creations "Acupuncture Kantan na Kensa; Aesthetic Acupuncture Facial and Body - Prof. Walter and Auriculopuncture, as well as Improvement in the Study of Theory of Cycles of 5 Elements / Movements ".
I see nowadays that many new graduates receive their Certificate without being sure of what they have learned.
They leave with doubts of the Training Schools of Therapists / Acupuncturists / Massoterapeutas.
Even trying to understand them, I do not understand why over time, the Training Courses became Modular courses?
Even worse, when I see the advertisements of Courses (EAD) of Auriculopuncture, Systemic Acupuncture, Massages and Iridology ...
If it is necessary to be present to correct the student and heal all questions of these!
I agree with some Courses in Format (EAD), but since they do not require manipulation of some material or the patient, there are Courses for theoretical knowledge!
 
In my point of view, Courses geared towards well-being and health, should have complete approach.
Example: Student takes a TCM-based Systemic Acupuncture Course, stays for more than 3 years studying all Meridians and their points. It arrives at the time of Supervised Internship, dreaming of attendance and discovers that it will copy recipes, say, protocols ready. Detail: in class learns that each case is a case, but in practice realizes that there is some failure. When he finishes the course, he discovers that to excel in the market will have to take Advanced course; Specialization; Lato sensu. (Learn to use some bleeding techniques, extra points, point correlation).
It discovers that the Certification is 1,200 hours for the Course of 03 years, but, the Schools teach this course as a face-to-face weekend per Month, (the student becomes self-taught if he has dedication and commitment) what doing the calculations Results in a 420 hour Course. Thinking about it and at the time I did my courses (we had classes every day of the week and on Saturdays a round table on studies and attendance), I understand why so many graduates are afraid and full of doubts. The same is true of Massage Therapists and Body Therapists.
I realize that for some years now, such courses have become a commercial product.
Many Colleagues ask me for information that they should know or have knowledge of, such as: Knowing how to work with the Cycle Theory of 5 Elements / Movements. Understand what is mystical and usual; Know how to work with Energy ...
There are Massage Therapists who do not know or do not know that there is a specific massage routine for Man (yang) and for Woman (YIN). You do not even know what HARPOR is ...
Many Acupuncturists end up getting frustrated after knowing that for the reason of not knowing and not having had a good Cycle Theory lesson ... The pulsology and the tongue / face examination, distort the knowledge with the mystic and the real, end up copying treaties And points tips, overloading the patient / Client with excess needles ... Exaggeration of points etc.

I see that Some Schools do not even improve the way of teaching, sometimes being tied only to the mystic and to what no longer applies.
In some cases the Renowned Schools do not have good Teachers and Instructors, who are mostly newly trained and / or have no experience of patients and pathologies.

I leave my criticisms with the intention of calling attention to improving the quality of the Courses, not being 'Basic', but forming professionals who have no fears or doubts!
